The Windsor Regional Employment Services (WREN) offers self-directed services and supported services through a network of Service Providers. Everyone is welcome to use our services, but eligibility for specific services may vary. There are no eligibility criteria for our self-directed services. These include tools and resources for jobseekers, including a Job Board and Resume Builder. To find and use our tools and resources, please visit Job Search & Career Planning.
Some of our supported services include assistance in finding a job, developing new skills, accessing training, and supporting you through your first year of employment. You may qualify for supported services if you are 15 years old or older, you live in Ontario, and you are eligible to work in Canada. You can access case-managed services if you have a 900-series Social Insurance Number (SIN) or an open work permit, and fall into one of these categories:
- You are waiting for your permanent residency status to be finalized.
- You are a refugee claimant.
- You are a visitor under Emergency Travel measures.
If you think you qualify for supported services, reach out to a local service provider or connect with our intake team for more information. Visit Connect with a Service Provider.
Remember: Your job is out there. We will help you find it!
